AND YOU'RE MOUNTAIN BIKING?
No, thank God, I'm nowhere near in such bad sorts. But I am in bad shape: it took a very specialized, talented and caring physiotherapist to FINALLY agree with me. In my case she said "We can fix it. It won't be easy, but we can fix it." The therapy is weird because it does visibly help many things, but at the same time uncovers other specific kinks.
I used to cycle quite a lot, but now everything is too rough on many key parts of the body. ADVICE TO THE YOUNG CROWD: KEEP IN SHAPE AND STAY PHYSICALLY ACTIVE!!!
My problem is that I'm lazy with the stretching.... they have worked wonders in the past, but I get fed-up at spending that 30 minutes 2-3 times a day. Lunch time is either 1/2 hour of oboe or stretching... can't do both.
My wife and I started our lucrative work too late in life, so early retirement is out of the question..... keep bying lottery tickets!
