Keep going!
On my system I can record enable some tracks and play bak only on others.
Monitoring my current playing is the challenge, but enough practice with headphones on and I get past that.
But I mean really good headphones...Ultrasone... $350 headphones.
I can leave them over both ears and still get good oboe down.
Otherwise, with cheaper headphones, I vent one ear and place the right headphone piece on my head and the left over my ear. That way I get enough direct oboe and it helps.
