I'm guessing that the "effects" and "generate" in the following screen-shot add-up to reverberation?
The reasons I like Audacity so much is that, apart from being free, it works on Windows, Mac and Linux and it has powerful tools like removing humm and pop-corn noises.
Really nice as I have vinyl LP's from the 1960's-70's that are really worth keeping, but the recording I have of them has terrible static electricity humm and pop-corn noises.
