Bassoons only have the swell on the outside - the bore doesn't bulge at all.
Heckel made French style bells for their bassoons as an option which suddenly narrow to a much thinner wall beyond the tonehole, so a bulge in the bore would be out of the question on these.
Oboe bells do have a very flattened-out S curve to the bore, so they do widen out on the inside before narrowing back down to the diameter of the bell mouth.
