No, I mean professional recordings and radio broadcasts in general. The flatness might be subtle rather than blaring, but it's there. This is in both orchestral and small ensemble music, not just from any one part. CBC radio plays recordings and live concerts of Canadian, American and a slough of European orchestras.
I can't point to anything specific (no particular country either) because it's on streaming radio and I don't jot them down. It just really annoys me when I hear it the clarinet and/or flute off pitch compared to strings and brass..... unless its really a matter of tone colour rather than tuning. But I rarely get that with oboes from nowadays.
