What make is your oboe?

A clarinet thumbrest (the sheet metal kind) will fit but will probably need the base to be squeezed to make the radius of the curve smaller. Windcraft (in the UK) stock clarinet thumbrests - they have a Selmer USA oboe one which should go straight onto any oboe provided the screw holes line up, though it may need the holes filled and redrilled if they're not in the same place https://www.windcraft.co.uk/ catalogue number WSB7079

Former oboe finisher
Howarth of London
1998 - 2010

The opinions I express are my own.
