To make a long story short.... I have 'misplaced' my thumb rest on my oboe.... It is a shame to have curious kids that like going through your things. I have no idea how they did it but they lost my thumbrest. I do have to say, it was a little wiggly but still. I have searched on ebay, amazon, and google-ed for about a week now and I can't find somewhere that sells replacements. I have an off-brand oboe that is no longer open and selling, so going back to the dealer is not an option. Does anybody know of a place where I could get one? I'm not sure if all oboes have the same measurements for it or not.... If so, I could possibly reach out to another dealer but I'm hoping someone would know of another option. Thanks for any help!
