 New Oboist

Hello

I have taken the plunge and taken up the Oboe :O). Doesn't seem to be any teachers in my area (Mid-Wales) but I'm making reasonably nice noises and learning a few notes by myself. I have a Howarth S10B. My question is whether or not i should be allowing a bubble to form under my upper lip when playing? it just comes and goes at the moment.
