Take the key off (just the pad cup part) and clean the face of the pad with a cotton bud (Q-tip) dipped in alcohol (isopropyl or methylated spirits), and also clean the top of the 8ve insert in the same way to remove dirt or grease.
Have you had your oboe serviced within the two years you've owned it for? If not, you should have had it serviced between 12 and 6 months ago.
