hm, this blog link's 3rd diagram reading from the left, with measurements on it, has the same 30-35mm in two completely different locations on the cane, and one of these same measurements is at the same location as 40-45mm dot on the mid-line -- any comments, clarifications?

also it appears the tip side edge measurement reads 7-10mm, but it's blurry, what's your take on it?
