How odd about the ISP - I'm actually to the north of London, don't know where the Beckenham came from... anyway, I am close enough to London to make that feasible anyway.
I will certainly take a trip down to Howarth's.
Do you have any suggestions about which particular oboes to be thinking about?
Teacher-wise, I'm soon to start university in October, so it would be impractical to get a regular teacher until I go. Are there any particular things I should avoid getting into a habit with until then? (common mistakes made by beginners?).
I'll make sure to get lots of reeds to try and choose from
I've had a quick look through the second hand list, not that most of it means much! Do you know whether Howarth's keep the second hand instruments in store?
