 Larilee Oboe

Hi - I have just acquired an oboe but don't know much about it. It is a Larilee, with the numbers 2812 etched in each piece. It also has a small pearl colored dot on the bell just below the name. I used to play oboe in school (about 40 years ago, and hope to see if I remember anything!) Does anyone know where I can get some info on this?
