so is yamaha starting to dominate the oboe market in the west?
over here in asia, the flow of good yamaha instruments is rare and usually what we get apart from the direct imports of japan are rejects that were unclassified, a very sad thing in deed. not to say are the incredible price tags we get for the good ones.
but of course, we all know that yamaha is a very good brand for the oboe, just that the mindset over here states that nothing is better than loree, marigaux, etc. excluding the personal tone preferences.

what do you think?
