Loree DM, if I remember correctly?

My Loree (regular bore) is also a touch flat around low D and C#. I have always suspected that this is a compromise, to keep 1st octave notes perfectly in tune - but on my older instrument, BOTH registers are in tune.

I use loads of support on these low notes to keep them nearly up to pitch, but my quintet colleagues all complain that I'm too flat or too loud down there (usually, both). La Cheminee du Roi Renee (Milhaud) suffered!

On the Weber Reeds website, he offers a bore adjustment that supposedly fixes precisely these problems. I wonder what he does? I think he only adjusts the bell, but I could be wrong.
