Yes, D and below, D is bad, C# is ridiculous, etc.

I shortened the staples of the Ke Xun reeds that i have been recently playing on, i wired them to close down the opening, i bite, i tried everything, they were still flat. So, i went back to my own reeds, FLAT! I never realised how bad they were until now......

To help myself identify the problem, lets start with the oboe. Apparently, leaking will cause flatness, if everything plays well and speaks well, but might be leaking? Other causes related to the instrument?
