Thanks very much, Howard! Btw, I heard again from Barenreiter and they came up with BA7402, Classic Hits for 2 Flutes, which includes many short opera excerpts, many by Mozart. Gee, I wonder which version of the Universal Edition Schellenberger used for the oboe/flute pairing? There are two different editors but the selections look like they might be the same. I assume the differences may be minor and have to do with the greater range in the flute upper register.
One more idea: William Grant Still miniatures for flute, oboe, piano...bluesy american music, very nice.
