Looks like it's maybe better shaped but more or less similar to other ligatures like the BG, which I have and my problem with it is that it's a little slippery and pretty flimsy.

Yes, though this isn't about sound. It's about trying to find a specific but very basic physical design of a ligature that doesn't seem to be made anymore by anyone. I have a few other ligatures and can use any of them but I'm trying to find one without the (physical) compromises that I don't like.
