Hahaha! Hmmm "piece of grass wound onto some metal", rings a bell! Your teacher (if he is who I thik...) once told me (calmly, and pausing in strategic places) :" You know to sound good, you have to stop asking too much to your reed. After all, it's only a vegetable!" (somehow sound funnier in french...).
