aren't hi notes all fun & games cross-wiring ?!
... try curling your left pinky at the first joint a bit so it works more like a piston up and down on the basic G# / left E-flat combo keys
Don't think about "two keys" at once, just drop pinky down on the single small *space* between these keys
If the space seems too big, you might want to turn the joint a fraction to get them aligned as close as they'll go, or else bend the keys towards each other a little bit, and it sure helps if they're level
co-ordination finger exercises -- analyse every single movement you have to make to change from Hi D to E and back again
before even playing the instrument, work each separate movement of fingers in slow mo, then do multiple silent reps of each movement in combination until you feel well oiled and coordinated, then work at blowing, embouchure rollover, intonation etc.
What's really frustrating in the beginning is you'll proabably make a step forward today, but find yourself back to square one tomorrow, so you just have to keep practising every single day, it'll get better in time, allow yourself three weeks intensive effort and you'll be smooth as silk :-)
