In the F scale (in two octaves) I am having an awkward transition between the high-D and High-E keys. My right pinky must jump between the two, while my right ring finger comes on and off as well. This makes it difficult to slur the two notes on the way down, as my band instructor told us to do. I don't see an alternate fingering for either note in my chart. Is there one?
