 European players: Make their own reeds or buy?

Seems like a lot of European players buy their reeds from folks like K. Ge. Reeds (http://www.kge-reeds.com/store/index.shop) or on Nicholas Daniels' blog I read that he orders his reeds from Dimiter Jordanov (http://www.le-roseau.ca/products_reeds_1_en.php?secID=27). So this brought me to the question, do a lot of European players order their reeds? Why or why not?

I started thinking how blessed I must be since I get to make my own reeds at such a cheap price.

Then I started thinking how cursed I must be since I have to make my own reeds...
