Okay I'd really appreciate advice on this! so I'm in my highschool band and I play the clarinet. I'm going to learn oboe and my band director gave me this really super duper crappy oboe not being used which really sucks. There are three pads in the case that have fallen off the oboe. I don't want to spend money repairing this instrument, since I'll only use it till I get the wood one the senior is currently using, in May. Is there any way I can re attach or glue the pads in myself? Or have my teacher help me? I just want to make this oboe play able -since I'm only learning on it. Is it also a major problem if the first and second joint is loose where they connect? Will it still be playable? --should I just skip it all and wait till May?
