I'll post this on other BBoards of this place too because its not strictly oboe, but some of you have shown knowledge and experience here.
I'm looking for MIDI editors (notation or sequencers), preferably freeware or at least "cheap ware" that can do 2 simple things:
1. on a selection of notes, on one or more tracks/staves, do crescendos or diminuendos
2. on a selection of notes, do accelerando or diminuendo.
As stated in my latest blog post http://robindeshautbois.blogspot.com/2011/02/old-cane-and-rubato-midi.html I have expensive software that does all that, but its hard to use! There must be something affordable and easy, but searching Google brings up mostly ring-tone makers and game music makers.
Thanks for any hints!
