any ideas?

hi im new to these parts - im based in the uk

i am a part time trainee instrument technician (woodwind) and am in need instruments or parts of instruments that have well passed their usable life span or have been severely abused (they know who they are!) to practise/refine my techniques (along side my project pieces) without fear of knackering a playable bit of kit.

some are very easy to come by but some, including oboes are stumping me. ive been scouring ebay, car boots, emailing. short of sorting through a land fill im stuck.

therefore i thought that i would see if anyone here has any ideas - you seem like a friendly lot. answers from the uk would be particularly welcome but ill be gratefull for any responses that i get.
