I ought to rotate my reeds, but I end up sticking with one that I know will work straight away and will continue working, and I'll just keep that one going as long as possible. I have other reeds that are nearly like it in the same box (a box of the three best ones) and they hardly get a look in until I need another one.

But I'll ususally play on the same reed until it either gets worn out or damaged.
