In response to the first article - there is one thing that I believe can be misunderstood
"All oboe blowing is fortissimo blowing!!"
The principle in mind is that there should be a constant even speed of air, which is fine - but it has nothing to do with a dynamic of fortissimo. He even says dynamics are created with the lips (and they are) so why does he go and associate blowing with dynamics?
