It could be your oboe, it could be your reeds, it could be your technique, it could be a lot of things!

Start by reading the following excellent article to see if it's your technique (embouchure and wind speed):

You should have your oboe evaluated and adjusted by an expert, you should make sure your reeds are well balanced (get Joseph Shalita's ebook online for clues) - only then can you be sure if it's you or some combination of the above!
