Hi Mark,
I finished my Masters 3 years ago and was subbing with numerous orchestras as well as teaching oboe to about 20 students. Last Noember, I left all of it and joined a touring group. I can't really describe what kind of music I'm playing right now... Cirque du Soleil just about fits the style. Not pop. Not classical. Not jazz, but a bit of each, and I play 7 shows/week.

Anyway. I wanted to keep myself in shape by taking a lesson or two (playing Mozart or Strauss...but probably more Mozart!). The thing is, I don't really know the teachers in Brussels and Amsterdam. I was hoping to find a teacher via the Conservatoire... or at least make some oboe friends! If you have any names of nice teachers let me know. And if you're playing any concerts in the Netherland between today and June let me know! I want to see as many concerts/operas/recitals as possiblewhile I'm there!
