Yeah. I ruined my old Rigoutat by using a polishing cloth. I try to wipe of my new (even though i bought it 4 years ago...) oboe with a chamois evry once in a while, I also take it apart once or twice a year to clean all the little nooks ad crannies, but I never EVER use those evil polishing chloths!
