And also with the top notes on oboe (altissomo C#,D,Eb,E,F etc.) , it's very easy to mis-pitch them to be too sharp - so if you have an electronic tuner or can play along with a pianist you'll be able to check just how well you're pitching them, and also what embouchure adjustments to do to get the top notes in tune.

They will sound much flatter than you think (compared to clarinet) when played bang smack in tune, so don't be tempted to lip them up or you can end up being a quarter tone sharp at the very least.
