...thanks for the comment about "inconsistent" glotin staples, just got a couple of dozen recently and all of them had to be worked around a mandrel, most of the top openings weren't evenly elliptical, thought i'd been sent the clearance bunch at bottom of the barrel, but maybe this is standard "inconsistency" for glotin? All carefully stamped on the cork and the cane pieces too! think i'll go back to "great" pisoni staples next time
