Aternate to Chris P's suggestion would be: OXX OXOC to bring the D down. Also, consider taking the instrument to someone who has experience in enlarging the diamond-shaped opening in the half-hole key so that you can use the halfhole instead of an open key to slightly lower the pitch.
If your reed is too open the high D will be reluctant on the high D. Experiment with more closed reeds to see if the half-hole fingering can be used.
