Just surfing around, seeing if I could find any online examples of a Covey oboe being played (nope).
But I found something even better -- a really good academic oboe website that I haven't seen before. This one reminds me of Martin Schuring's great site -- maybe even better. It could be that this is old news to everyone but me, but this is a *great* site. Definitely check out the stuff on reeds, and on common beginner oboist problems. It will sound familiar to many of us! Oh, the warm-ups are great, too.
