Hi, I had the same problem with my oboe and I brought it to the repairman to see if he could clean out the octave keys, thinking that it would help reduce water clogging in the octave holes. Instead of doing just that, he also applied a layer of 'fat' around the 2nd octave key hole and that seems to work! I almost have no more water problems thought it does ocassionally happen after long hours of continuous playing. I don't know what that 'fat' or 'grease?' is called but it's worth an option!
