Hey Laura,
What fingering are you using for D and Eb? I'll give you mine which I find make that passage relatively easy (although I'm pretty sure they're the conservatory fingerings...). The first set of numbers and keys before the comma is the left-hand fingers, the set after is the right-hand fingers.
D: (1/2-hole 2 3, 2 C-key)
Eb: (1/2-hole 2 3 B-key, 2 3)
If you're really, really desperate, you can use the fingering for high C and add the trill key in-between 1 and 2 in the right hand for D, and add the second (bottom) trill key on the left hand for the Eb...however, once you play it you'll understand why I wouldn't recommend it...it doesn't sound the greatest. As for your other question, I'm sorry but I can't help you with your other question. Hopefully someone else will! Let me know if those fingerings don't work for you.
