My english horn gouger is a Jeanne machine. But I've sharpened the blade once and I also moved the bed somewhat to make the sides a little thicker. The Giacobassi tip is wider at the top and narrower at the bottom than the Jeanne. I read that it's just a copy of a Prestini 2 that she had that she thought was particularly good. You're welcome to try it anytime.

Yes I have time this weekend. Either Saturday early afternoon or Sunday anytime is fine with me.
