Hi W-

I like my Jeanne tip but place the cane at the top of the ears for preferred results. I would love to try the Giacobassi tip - is it a bit wider?
What gouge are you using? And what length bocal are you using?

I also prefer a C# crow. Any higher and I am too sharp then have to use a #2 bocal.

Have you tried the Charles gold plated staples yet? I find they fit the (Loree) bocals very tightly and give me good results.

Got time for gouging machines this weekend? We are back in town.
