It is early days and you do need to be patient, and try to have as relaxed hands as you can when you play. Yes the half hole is small, but it is mastered with placeise, or you can simply lift your finger right off it, if the instrument has been adiusted so that the key opens by a gnat's whisker. Your teacher will help you through all this.. Try to be as consistent as you can with your pracrise. Best of luck.
