How about one I am playing at the moment!

There are lots of essences of oboe solos in all movements of the Shostakovich Symphony No.5, and I can assure that there is a long and scary and EXRTREMELY exposed one in the middle of the third movement, and p! Beautiful though, and no-one can resist the cheeky one at the end of the second movement :o)
