Hi Kelly --
I have performed Albinoni's Concerto Op. 9 No.2, and I guess I'd rate it as a high-intermediate level of difficulty (others may disagree -- just ranking it on where it lays in my own repertoire experience). It is a very satisfying piece to play.
The most challenging movement, for me, is the Adagio, with its l-o-n-g tied dotted halves. Actually, it was this Adagio (as played by Gordon Hunt, for the marriage of Prince Charles of England and Camilla Parker Bowles) that drew me to attempt this piece in the first place.
I found the third movement to be the easiest, because it is short and fast and very regular. The first movement is longer, and has more piano/orchestra work than the others.
A definite "recommended" for this one!
Susan
