Hello,
I am a new beginner and just started learning the oboe almost a year ago. I recently bought a new reed 'Fortay student' and I found I'm having problems with it. The new reed is extremely easy to blow into without much effort but the result is that it sounds like a saxophone/bagpipe!
Do you think it could be a faulty oboe reed or I'm buying the wrong hardness?
