 Start a local oboe clinic

Greetings!

I have looked for and want to participate in a oboe clinic and there are none within the local vicinity - maybe one in Anchorage but none listed, 2 hours away. There is a fine arts festival in Fairbanks, but that is a looong drive. While it is a fine festival, it lasts two weeks. I want something that lasts one weekend.

Where do I find out about one local? Is there a special set of keywords to search, because I have tried with no results. I keep telling myself, we aren't that remote! It's 2013!

If there are no local workshops, how do I go about setting one up? I am acquainted with the local music store, the local oboe teacher. I am a member of our community band in good standing. There is a community hall we can use.

Who would I invite to teach? I have tons of questions.
