Hi Craig,
I came upon that video yesterday, too, and I was thinking... "I want to sound like that!!" Now all I do is just squeak and play out of tune. It's an entirely different beast. I think having played EH has helped, though, as the baroque oboe reed is even wider! In fact, after going cold turkey on the modern oboe for a few weeks, I'm now finding the modern reed so tiny and difficult to blow through! But my EH playing has never been better. Seems that Marcel Ponseele makes his own oboes, although a quick search has not led to a website. Anyhoo, I probably wouldn't be wanting to order from Europe anyway.
