All of the "Chiasserini [Loree] fakes" that I have seen so far (both oboes
and English horns) have had serial numbers beginning with B, such as BG, or (my favorite) "BS." So far, all of the Chiasserini Loree fakes I have had or seen were made by Malerne.
I can not say with absolute certainty that this oboe in question (AS6) is for sure by Loree. Some of the key patterns, such as the left F key touch at the S bend, or the look of the left index B touch, do not seem in character with other AS series Loree oboes I have had.
