I'm with Mark, if you don't wand permanent or lasting damage.

And check out your hand position by standing in front of a mirror holding your instrumetn: your wrist should not be bent at all, with or without any kind of supportive device like a Phred.

Tendonitis and any kind of inflammation of those durable soft tissues will heal well ONLY with rest; there are no short-cuts. So get to a PT or orthopedic doc or hand specialist and get the best treatment you can. It'll matter in the long run.
