In one of the two photos of one of his reeds that Dr. Cooper recently posted on one of the Topics, maybe the "Tone vs. Response" one, I noticed what looked like a noticeable "shelf/buildup/"mini-heart" or whatever it would be called, just past the regular heart, in the taper section(?), towards the tip. Did you (DSM) see those and does that look like one of the things that you might be describing? Regards.
