Hey, how did you place the microphone to "d'amorify" the sound like that... the Covey I tried did not seem more d'amorish than others.... but perhaps more than Lorées... or maybe the hall acoustics have a lot to do with it?
... but I have to disagree with water intoxication of reeds.... maybe it's because I like a really "athletic" reed, but reeds soaked for over 24 hours have played great for me..... after a big of warming-up.
