I get headaches also when I am not breathing properly. The doctor calls it something like "Valsalva maneuver". It's when you strain to do something like lifting a heavy object and you hold your breath in the process. So I have been practicing my breathing. I am a former clarinetist and the change in breathing styles from clarinet to oboe was a HUGE one.
