We have a product in Australia called Voltaren (diclofenac sodium) which comes in both tablet and gel form. The gel is fantastic for inflammation which is close to the skin, such as the jaw. It works fairly quickly and is more effective if used consistently (i.e. it builds up). If you can find something similar in Germany, I highly recommend it.
