But if your reeds are that badly out of tune to start with, you have more of a problem than a new, expensive toy (the adjustable staple) can solve!
I doubt that this is any kind of magic bullet. Unless you are playing through electronic circuitry (as in, Wind Controller), you still have to learn how to play every note on your instrument in tune under an endless variety of atmospheric circumstances. Plug and play oboe reeds? NOT!
